The Best Fests of Fall

Fall is the perfect time to get out and explore St. Augustine. Cooler temps make swaying to the rhythm of the beat a much more enjoyable experience. Or, step outside your comfort zone with a bone-chilling tour of the city’s historic haunted sites. Need tips on how to pick the perfect pumpkin? Well, we can’t help you there, but we can suggest a few of our favorite ways to celebrate spooky season.

The Sing Out Loud Festival

This month-long music festival takes place in various venues throughout St. Augustine and Ponte Vedra, featuring free and ticketed shows with local, regional, and national artists. A portion of the sales is donated to local conservation efforts, local music programs, and first responders. Tap your toes for a good cause!

Sykes Family Farm Corn Maze and Harvest Festival

Getting lost in the Sykes Family award-winning crop maze is an annual tradition in St. Johns County. Each year’s maze has a different theme and sprawls over nine acres of corn fields. There’s a host of activities surrounding the maze, including hay rides, duck races, you-pick sunflowers, and live performances. Open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, 10/4 – 11/2.

St. Benedict Blues Festival

Benedict the Moor Church combines the best blues performances with the tastiest barbecue in St. Augustine. The musical line-up includes musicians from Northeast Florida and beyond. 10/4 – 10/26.

Ghosts & Gravestones Ghost Tour

Climb aboard the trolley for an evening of spooky sightseeing. A costumed ghost host shares eerie tales of the ancient city’s haunted past and guides you through places that hold dark secrets of the present. See you there, if you dare.
